Iran, with more than 90 percent of the world’s saffron production, is the largest producer of this product. In recent years, countries such as the UAE, Spain, Hong Kong and Afghanistan are the main export destinations for iran’s saffron.

Approximately 2300 species of Iranian herbs are in the category of medicinal and aromatic herbs. Of these, 450 species are considered to be medicinal plants that are sold on the grocery.
